Last updated: September 10, 2026

Aura Wireless ("Aura," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile application, and wireless services (collectively, the "Services").

Please read this policy carefully. By using our Services, you agree to the terms described here. If you disagree, please discontinue use of our Services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, billing address, and payment method when you create an account or purchase a plan
  • Identity verification: government-issued ID or other verification documents required by our carrier partners for SIM provisioning
  • Communications: messages you send us via support channels, our website contact form, or email
  • Waitlist information: responses to our onboarding survey, including your connectivity needs and device type

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: data usage volume, connection timestamps, network events, and SIM status information — collected for billing and network optimization purposes
  • Device information: device model, operating system, IMEI, IMSI, and e-SIM profile identifiers
  • Network telemetry: signal strength, network quality metrics, and routing decisions — used to improve our AI routing models (anonymized and aggregated)
  • Log data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps when you access our website
  • Cookies and tracking: we use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and service functionality (see Section 6)

Information from Third Parties

  • Carrier partners: network usage events, roaming records, and SIM status from our MVNE and carrier network partners
  • Payment processors: transaction confirmation and fraud signals (we do not store full payment card numbers)
  • Identity verification services: identity confirmation results, where required

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provision and manage your wireless service, including SIM activation and network routing
  • Process payments and manage your account billing
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Send transactional communications (account alerts, usage notifications, billing receipts)
  • Send marketing communications — only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time
  • Improve our AI routing models using aggregated, anonymized network telemetry data
  • Comply with legal obligations, including telecommunications regulatory requirements
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Enforce our Terms of Service

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, including payment processors, MVNE and carrier partners (for SIM provisioning and network routing), identity verification services, analytics providers, and customer support platforms. These vendors are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request — including lawful requests from law enforcement and telecommunications regulators (such as CALEA-compliant requests).

Business Transfers

If Aura Wireless is acquired, merged, or involved in a similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is subject to a different privacy policy.

With Your Consent

We may share your information in other ways with your explicit consent.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with our legal obligations. Specifically:

  • Account data: retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after closure
